A few days ago, batch 2 was transferred from the hatchery to RAS 1. This was the second time that our staff performed this transfer, but this time it was twice as big as the last one, 600,000 fry were transferred between systems.
As before, the transfer was well prepared which resulted in a safe and efficient transfer. Next batch will arrive in July and that batch will be 900.000 salmon ova which is 75% of LAXEY´s full capacity. The first full batch will arrive in the autumn, 1,200,000 salmon ova.
