Sigurður Smári Benónýsson has joined Laxey. He holds a master certificate in carpentry and completed his studies in architectural technology at Vitus Bering School in Horsens, Denmark. Since 2007, he has also been a certified structural designer.
Sigurður has extensive experience in the field of planning and construction. He worked as a planning and construction officer in Vestmannaeyjar from 2002 to 2020 and then as the building inspector for Vestmannaeyjabær until 2025. His knowledge and broad experience are valuable assets to Laxey’s projects.
