The smolt station is now fully operational. This significant milestone was reached 22nd of August when the first batch of smolt was successfully transferred from the RAS-2 system to the RAS-3 system. The RAS-3 is the final stage in our smolt station’s process, before they are transported to the grow-out site in Viðlagafjara. This achievement marks the full functionality of the smolt station, ensuring that our operations can now run at full capacity. It is a proud moment for LAXEY, representing a crucial step forward in our mission to optimize production and maintain the highest standards in aquaculture.
